The National Bike Summit is the premier bike advocacy event of the year for bike advocates and professionals!

WITH NEW LEADERSHIP IN THE OVAL OFFICE, we need your voice FOR BIKES on Capitol Hill!  Congress will be in session to hear your voice.

This INSPIRING event builds our movement for 2017 and beyond. Focus will be on regional planning, national and local messaging, and the road map of our work together in advancing the bicycling movement. Networking opportunities, keynote addresses from top government officials, workshops highlighting innovative advocacy ideas, and an organized Lobby Day to bring our pro-bicycling message to our elected officials on Capitol Hill - experience it all during our few days together!

This year’s event will be held March 6-9, 2017 at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown DC, located at 999 Ninth St. NW Washington, DC 20001.

How Bicycling Makes Lemonade - a tall glass of storytelling

Congratulations! You're in one of the most important conversations of our time - how we move about more actively, mindfully and sustainably for mobility in the modern world. The bike is a tool for optimism. But we're also living in a time of confusion and division that needs compelling storytellers to build bridges, change hearts and minds, and build momentum. Consider yourself recruited to take your storytelling to the next level.

Join Melissa Balmer of Pedal Love, Monica Garrison of Black Girls Do Bike, Barb Chamberlain formerly of Cascade Bicycle Club now of Washington State DOT, Renee Moore of WABA, Maria Boustead of Po Campo, Kit Keller formerly of  Association Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals, Timberley Jones of Relay Bikeshare Atlanta, and Charlie Gandy Vice Chair of the California Bicycle Coalition Board for an inspiring session pf storytelling in how bicycling has made lemonade in their lives to gear you up for your most successful summit yet.
