The National Bike Summit is the premier bike advocacy event of the year for bike advocates and professionals! 

WITH NEW LEADERSHIP IN THE OVAL OFFICE, we need your voice FOR BIKES on Capitol Hill!  Congress will be in session to hear your voice.

This INSPIRING event builds our movement for 2017 and beyond. Focus will be on regional planning, national and local messaging, and the road map of our work together in advancing the bicycling movement. Networking opportunities, keynote addresses from top government officials, workshops highlighting innovative advocacy ideas, and an organized Lobby Day to bring our pro-bicycling message to our elected officials on Capitol Hill - experience it all during our few days together!

This year’s event will be held March 6-9, 2017 at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown DC, located at 999 Ninth St. NW Washington, DC 20001.

Jamie Gaskill-Fox is a Program Specialist with the City of Fort Collins FC Bikes Program. Gaskill-Fox coordinates the education efforts of FC Bikes and manages the Bicycle Ambassador Program, a group of over 100 volunteers who educate others about bicycling safety in Northern Colorado. In 2015 Gaskill-Fox led the effort to launch the Bicycle Friendly Driver Program that is making strides toward national availability. Since its inception the Bicycle Friendly Driver program has reached over 3000 people in Northern Colorado. Additionally, the Bicycle Friendly Driver program Toolkit that was debuted by Gaskill-Fox at the 2017 National Bike Summit has been downloaded nearly 200 times by people in 39 states and 3 countries! Gaskill-Fox holds a bachelor's in Business Administration, a master's degree from Colorado State University, is a League Cycling Instructor, and has over ten years of experience teaching and managing volunteer programs.
